H.E. Mr. Shalva Papuashvili met with First Vice Minister of the Republic of Korea

On November 11, 2022, the Chairman of Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the First Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. Cho Hyundong.

The Chairman expressed his gratitude to Korea for supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia and introduced the non-recognition policy aspects, hoping that Korea will vote for the Resolution on the Refugees and IDPs from the Occupied Regions of Georgia at the UN General Assembly.

The parties exchanged information concerning the developments in the neighborhood of the two countries and overviewed the bilateral agenda, including trade, investments, direct flights etc.

The meeting was held within the working visit of the Speaker and his accompanying delegation to the Republic of Korea Korea.
