Tarash Papaskua
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Korea H.E. Mr. Tarash Papaskua was born on May 6, 1986.
Mr. Papaskua holds Master’s degree in European Studies from the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s Institute of European Studies in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Law and Relations from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
In 2009-2014, Mr. Papaskua held positions of III, II and I Secretaries at the International Organizations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
In 2014-2015, he was posted to Warsaw, Poland as a Counsellor at the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Poland.
In 2015-2019, he was posted to Vienna, Austria as a Counsellor at the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Austria, Permanent Mission of Georgia to the OSCE and Other International Organization in Vienna.
In 2019-2022, Mr. Papaskua held the position of the Head of Department for Trade Development and International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
As of November 1, 2022, he has been appointed as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Korea.
Speaks English, Russian, Georgian (native). He is married and has two children.
