Opening of exhibition of Painter Han Hee-Won

On April 24, 2023, Ambassador of Georgia Tarash Papaskua attended the opening of the exhibition of the Korean painter, Mr. Han Hee-won in Seoul. The exhibitions features numerous paintings depicting Georgia, which had been inspired by and dedicated to Mr. Han’s travel to Georgia as well as his life in Tbilisi in 2019.

It should be highlighted that the Korean artist’s collection of paintings related to Georgia includes more than 300 works.

Mr. Han presented one of his works depicting the historic district of Tbilisi – Avlabari - as a gift to the Embassy of Georgia to Korea.

The exhibition will be held in Seoul from April 24 to  May 4, 2023.
