Ambassador's meeting with the Chairman of Trade, Industry and Energy Committee of the National Assembly of Korea

On April 5, 2023 Ambassador of Georgia, Tarash Papaskua held a meeting with Mr. Kwan-Suk Youn, the Chairman of the Trade, Industry, Energy, Startups and SME’s Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, the parties discussed existing friendly relations between the two countries and expressed their readiness to actively promote the enhancement of political, trade-economic, energy and people-to-people ties between Georgia and the Republic of Korea. To that end, the parties highlighted the importance of expediting the launching of official negotiations on Georgia-Korea Free Trade Agreement and expressed hope that the ongoing negotiations on the investment protection and promotion agreement will soon be concluded. The Chairman of the Committee promised his full support towards successful realization of abovementioned issues.
