Meeting with Representatives of Korean Air and T’way

On 27 April 2026, Aleksandre Gachechiladze, Deputy Director of the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency, and Levan Moseshvili, CEO of the United Airports of Georgia, held meetings organized by the Embassy of Georgia with representatives of leading Korean airlines - Kwangho Ko, Senior Vice President of Passenger Business Division at Korean Air, Tae Joon (TJ) Kim, Senior Vice President of International Affairs & Alliances at Korean Air, and Changsup Shim, Senior Vice President at T’way.

During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Korea in the aviation sector, including Korean Air’s planned resumption of seasonal charter flights to Georgia in May 2026, as well as the possibility of T’way operating flights to Georgia. The parties agreed to continue coordinated work on these matters.
