Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea

On 5 February 2026, Mr. Mikheil Tigishvili, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Georgia to the Republic of Korea, met with Mr. Lee Song Joo, Director of the Economic Legal Affairs Division of the International Economic Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting focused on the ongoing negotiations on the Agreement between Georgia and the Republic of Korea on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments (BIT).

The sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue coordinated efforts toward the successful conclusion of the agreement.
