Meeting with a representative of Hyundai Motor Group

On 19 June 2026, Mr. Mikheil Tigishvili, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Georgia to the Republic of Korea, held a meeting with Mr. Kim Sangjin, Head of the Global Policy Operations Team at Hyundai Motor Group.

The parties discussed prospects for further developing cooperation between Georgia and Hyundai Motor Group, with particular attention given to Georgia’s potential as a regional logistics and manufacturing hub.

The meeting also highlighted Georgia’s attractive investment environment, including its free trade agreements, well-developed Middle Corridor transport infrastructure, favorable tax regime, and opportunities for implementing projects in the field of hydrogen energy.
