On December 5, under the initiative of the Embassy of Georgia and the Korea-Georgia Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the Korean legislature hosted end-of-year event and simultaneously the Exhibition of the Georgian manuscripts “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin – Europe and Asia in one book” and Georgian wine tasting were organized.
H.E. Moon Hee-sang, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea was invited to the event as a guest of honor. Around 100 guests, including the lawmakers of the National Assembly as well as other staff members attended the event. Speaker Moon, Ambassador Otar Berdzenishvili of Georgia and Hon. You Seung-hee, Chairperson of the Korea-Georgia Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group addressed to the attendees.
Ambassador briefed the invitees on the rapidly growing dynamics of cooperation between two countries’ legislative bodies and the perspectives of its further development. He underlined the significance of visit of the Korean parliamentarians headed by the Speaker in October of this year, which strengthened the partnership relations both on legislative and executive levels.
